About
Build Through Experience
Alex Koussev's love for shooting started with his father — aiming at matchsticks and beer bottle caps at summer park fairs.
Years later, studying in Switzerland, he discovered IPSC and never looked back. A turning point came in 2007 with the Master Seminar of multiple champion Eric Grauffel.
Today Alex competes with a Swiss-made Phoenix handgun and the Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec — a combination he trusts completely.

Story
From Park Fairs To International Competition
The Beginning
My father was a rifle sport shooter during his school and university years. He showed me how to shoot air rifles at park fairs during summer vacations — the biggest challenge was hitting matchsticks and moving beer bottle caps. After that, he bought me my first air rifle and air pistol.
Discovering IPSC
I discovered IPSC many years later during my studies in Switzerland, shooting at an indoor range called Les Bastions — which no longer exists today. One of the hardest things in the beginning was that hand-reloading was not yet allowed in Bulgaria, so we all shot factory ammo with a very limited round count. The game-changing moment came in 2007 when I participated for the first time in the Master Seminar of multiple champion Eric Grauffel.
The Equipment
I shot CZ guns for more than 11 years. Today I shoot the Rolex and Porsche of handguns — a Swiss-made Phoenix. For sights, I tried C-More and Shield before choosing the Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec. The ergonomics, reliability, availability, customer service and price made the decision instant.
